It is silent. No news, no symptoms and nothing that trigger it presence. When you came to know about it, the time to act already too short.
Every now and then we read about people suffering from cancer. My cousin's wife passed away due to breast cancer, an aunt died after fighting with the big C for almost nine years. Today, we were told by the doctor that my mother in law is already at stage 3B.
That is not something that everyone expect when they go and see the doctor. It was shocking at first but we manage to accept that this is a test from Allah towards His servant. As written in the Quran (2:214):
Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah." Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near!
We are now searching for alternative treatment before proceeding with chemotheraphy. Many articles that I have read suggest we go against chemotherapy. May Allah show us the way and give us His blessing during this journey.
